JetSet Cares is designed for use by adults, parents, legal guardians, and approved providers. It is not intended for children to create their own accounts or use the platform independently.

Parents or guardians may provide limited information about children when needed to arrange safe care, such as age, care needs, allergies, emergency instructions, or special instructions.

We do not knowingly allow children under the age required by applicable law to create accounts. If we learn that a child has created an account without proper consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and related personal information.

Parents and guardians may contact us at privacy@jetsetcares.org to request access, correction, or deletion of child related information associated with their family account.

5. How We Use Information

JetSet Cares uses personal information to create and manage accounts, operate the website and app, allow families to search for providers, allow providers to apply and receive bookings, review and verify provider applications, support trust and safety standards, process bookings and payments, provide memberships and subscriptions, enable messaging, send confirmations and reminders, provide customer support, investigate disputes and safety reports, display provider profiles and reviews, operate JetSet Academy, improve the platform, prevent fraud and unsafe conduct, comply with legal obligations, send service and policy updates, send marketing communications where permitted by law, analyze platform performance, and protect JetSet Cares, families, children, providers, and the public.

6. How We Share Information

JetSet Cares does not sell personal information. We may share information as needed to operate the platform and provide services.

When a family makes a booking request or communicates with a provider, we may share relevant information with that provider, including family name, booking details, care location, care date and time, care instructions, children's ages or pet details where relevant, emergency instructions where provided, and platform messages.

When a provider communicates with a family or accepts a booking, we may share relevant provider information with the family, including display name, profile photo, city, languages, experience, services offered, badges, ratings and reviews, availability, rate or booking price, and verification or profile approval status. Sensitive provider verification documents are not shown to families unless required by law or expressly authorized.

We may share information with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting providers, payment processors, identity verification providers, background check providers where used, email and SMS providers, push notification services, analytics providers, crash reporting tools, customer support tools, fraud prevention tools, map and location services, document storage providers, and legal, accounting, tax, and compliance advisors.

Payments, subscriptions, and payouts may be handled by third party processors such as Stripe, Apple, Google, or other approved providers. These providers may process payment information according to their own privacy policies.

We may share information when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect children, families, providers, or the public, investigate fraud or unsafe conduct, enforce terms and policies, protect JetSet Cares, and support insurance, legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.

If JetSet Cares is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

7. Public Profile Information

Provider profiles may be visible to users of JetSet Cares and may include display name, profile photo, bio, city, languages spoken, experience, services offered, approved badges, ratings, reviews, general availability, hourly or booking rate, and verification or approval indicators.

Providers should not include private information in public profile fields, such as home address, passport number, government ID number, private phone number, or private banking information.

8. Platform Messaging and Off Platform Contact

JetSet Cares may monitor, review, or store platform messages for safety, support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and policy enforcement.

To protect families, providers, and the platform, JetSet Cares may discourage or restrict attempts to move bookings, payments, or care arrangements off platform.

Messages may be reviewed if there is a support request, dispute, safety issue, suspected fraud, policy violation, or legal requirement.

9. App Permissions

The JetSet Cares app may request access to location, camera, photo library, notifications, and contacts only where relevant and permitted.

Location may be used to help users find providers, select cities, confirm booking locations, and improve location based services. Camera and photo library access may be used for profile photos, identity verification, document uploads, provider videos, support evidence, and optional booking related uploads. Notifications may be used for booking updates, message alerts, reminders, account alerts, safety notices, and service updates.

JetSet Cares does not access a user's contacts unless a future referral or invitation feature is added and the user gives permission. Users may manage permissions through their device settings.

10. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

JetSet Cares may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, secure accounts, understand website and app usage, improve performance, measure marketing effectiveness, detect fraud or abuse, and analyze app crashes and technical errors.

Users may adjust browser settings to refuse cookies, but some features may not work properly.

11. Advertising and Tracking

JetSet Cares does not sell personal information and does not use children's information for targeted advertising.

If JetSet Cares uses advertising, attribution, or analytics tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and make any required Apple App Store, Google Play, and legal disclosures. If the app uses tracking as defined by Apple or shares data for advertising or cross app tracking purposes, JetSet Cares will request permission where required.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods may depend on account status, booking history, payment and tax requirements, provider verification needs, legal or regulatory obligations, safety and dispute records, fraud prevention needs, customer support history, platform security requirements, and user deletion requests.

Provider verification records, safety reports, payment records, tax records, and dispute records may be kept longer where needed for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or compliance reasons. When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

13. Account Deletion and User Choices

Users may request to access, correct, update, export, or delete their personal information by contacting privacy@jetsetcares.org. Users may also be able to update certain information directly inside their account settings.

When a user requests deletion, JetSet Cares will delete or anonymize personal information unless we need to keep certain information for legal, safety, payment, tax, fraud prevention, dispute, or platform integrity reasons.

Examples of information we may need to retain include transaction records, tax records, safety reports, dispute records, fraud prevention records, provider verification decisions, and records needed to comply with law.

Users may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. Service related messages, such as booking confirmations, safety alerts, payment notices, and policy updates, may still be sent.

14. Security

JetSet Cares uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. These safeguards may include secure account login, encryption where appropriate, limited access to sensitive records, vendor security controls, identity verification procedures, fraud prevention tools, secure payment processing through third party processors, internal access controls, and review and moderation tools.

No online service can guarantee complete security. Users should protect their login credentials and notify JetSet Cares immediately if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

15. International Data Transfers

JetSet Cares serves families and providers across multiple countries. Personal information may be processed in countries other than the country where the user lives, including the United Kingdom, United States, Singapore, Thailand, or other countries where JetSet Cares, vendors, or service providers operate.

When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

16. Legal Bases for Processing Where Applicable

Where laws such as the UK GDPR or GDPR apply, JetSet Cares may process personal information based on contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligation, vital interests, or public interest.

Users may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but this may affect access to certain features.

17. Regional Privacy Rights

Depending on where a user lives, the user may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete personal information, object to certain processing, restrict certain processing, request a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, opt out of certain sharing or marketing, and file a complaint with a data protection authority.

JetSet Cares will respond to privacy requests as required by applicable law. To make a request, contact privacy@jetsetcares.org.

18. California Privacy Notice

If California privacy laws apply, California residents may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or share, request deletion, request correction, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

JetSet Cares does not sell personal information and does not knowingly sell or share personal information of children for behavioral advertising. California residents may contact privacy@jetsetcares.org to exercise privacy rights.

19. Thailand, Singapore, and Asia Pacific Privacy Considerations

JetSet Cares may operate in countries with privacy laws such as Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, and other regional privacy frameworks.

Where these laws apply, JetSet Cares will process personal information according to applicable consent, notice, access, correction, security, retention, and transfer requirements. Users may contact privacy@jetsetcares.org for privacy questions or requests.
